Yoshiaki KITA 北義昭, strich, Photograph, 2003.

１９６７年大阪に生まれる。１９８８年日本写真映像専門学校を卒業しフリーアシスタント。
１９９２年北写真事務所設立。１９９１年にヨーロッパ・北アフリカ、１９９８年に中南米に旅に出る。２００２年頃から個展・グループ展で作品を発表。２００２年日経ナショナルジオグラフィック（日本版）グランプリ受賞。昨年９月帰国。旅の記録を綴った写真やエッセイをニコン初のフラッシュ版サイト「世界点描」にて公開中。宝塚造形大学非常勤講師。
